The founder of Changes Janitorial Service was a strong determined woman named Blanca Flores, who conquered many obstacles in her life to provide the best life for her family and friends. Born and raised in country that offered no security due to a horrible war, she searched for a better life. Her mission was to help her family flees the place that was not safe anymore.  Fleeing El Salvador, she came to California. Once receiving citizenship her new loved place called home she was able to help her parents live close to their family once again.  She first ventured to open her small shop in the heart of downtown on Santa Cruz, called Mirage Import Connections. Alongside with her husband and young brother, Benito; they built a successful small business.

This would be only one of her great business investments. Ten years later, deciding to retire she began traveling the states.   In late 1999 she returned from the chilly East Coast and finally settled again in the warm California coast Santa Cruz County.  In Watsonville she managed property management for Flores Inc.   Before finally deciding to retire she started Changes Janitorial Service.

A friendly business built on trust and loyalty with a special personal touch to her customers. During this time she was diagnosed with cancer, eventually this would be her retirement call. Before passing away in 2006 she had sold the business to her brother. Her niece, Karen had already worked beside her in all aspects of the business and had extensive experience in management. Eventually her brother would put the business entirely into his daughter, Karen’s hands, who had a driven passion to continue to grow a business they way her aunt would be proud of.

Almost 8 years later, Changes Janitorial Services is growing strong. Changes Janitorial Services is maintaining to keep a personal yet professional touch offering a janitorial service that works around the clock to better serve their clients.
